Advanta’s has patented two sunflower seed technologies that offers high steric, high oleic, and ultra high oleic sunflower oil.
Nutrisun is a patented, proprietary germplasm that delivers sunflower oil with a special content of fatty acids. The high stearic, high oleic sunflower oil (HSHOSO) is the only saturated fatty acid that does not raise levels of bad cholesterol.
Ultrasun yields a superior natural oil with high levels of oleic acid, low levels of linoleic acid, with outstanding stability. The perfect vegetable oil for bio lubricants.
Agronomically, both technologies are stable across different environments.
