Our finished African Mahogany is pink when freshly cut and on exposure to air, it turns into a reddish-brown or golden-brown colour. The grain is straight and interlocked, giving it a stripe figure and pattern when cut and it has a medium to coarse texture. Mahogany has a lustrous surface and is quite durable to work with.

A bespoke extension of your creativity

Our finished African Mahogany can be easily cut with both hand and machine tools and it’s always advised to pick a sharp and study tool, especially since this wood has an interlocked grain. It works well with glue, screws, and nails and it can easily take on a good finishing and polish and look lustrous and aesthetically good.
