On January 28, on the eve of the Chinese New Year, a delegation from Russia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan arrived in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.

During Golda’s business meeting, Rinat expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted the increase in the number of trade and economic exchanges between Russian regions and Liaoning Province.

Golda Rinat spoke about the work of the International Council to promote the development of business relations between regions of Russia and foreign countries, as well as support in the implementation of projects and business initiatives in international trade.

Li Lecheng - Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee, Chairman of the People's Government of Liaoning Province recalled that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Chinese-Russian diplomatic relations and the opening of the cross-cultural Years of China and Russia; Chairman of the People's Government noted that Liaoning Province is ready to join forces with public circles in Russia to increase exchanges and cooperation in various fields, including economics and trade. He also expressed hope that Russian entrepreneurs will be able to pay attention to Liaoning and organize their activities in this region.

In China prov. Liaoning is known as the "golden triangle" because of its shape and favorable geographical location. Access to the Yellow Sea in the south, the border with North Korea in the southeast, and with Inner Mongolia in the northwest, allows us to consider the province as a major transport hub. Thus, Liaoning connects the entire Northeast region with the south of China, both by sea and land, and also opens access to the Korean Peninsula.
