On May 15, representatives of B2B-FAIR.ONLINE took part in the conference "Measures to eliminate difficulties in trade and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Russia in the new realities", organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in Russia.

The Deputy Secretary General of the Association of Vietnamese Seafood Exporters and Producers noted that recently there have been some difficulties in making international payments. If payments under contracts do not go through the Vietnamese-Russian bank, then they cannot be carried out, since Western banks are involved in the transfer process, which are guided by Western sanctions.

At the beginning of June 2023, IrAero will open direct international flights on the route Irkutsk – Hanoi (Vietnam) – Irkutsk on Superjet-100 aircraft, the Deputy General Director of IrAero announced.

The speakers noted the possibility of increasing the export of food products to Vietnam, since, for example, fertilizers and oil products are under sanctions, and any operation for their purchase by Vietnam is subject to Western sanctions.

Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development announced the planned creation of a digitalization committee within the Russian-Vietnamese IGC, as well as the development of a plan to overcome barriers in trade and economic relations between Russia and Vietnam.
